- Only check the cause if it’s safe (e.g., flat tyre, engine issue).
- Don’t attempt risky repairs on the roadside.

- If we’re unavailable, NRMA Roadside: 13 11 22.
- All Empire trailers include NRMA roadside assistance.
Stay safe while waiting
- Stay in the vehicle if safe, especially on busy roads.
- If you must exit, do so on the side away from traffic.
In Case of an Accident
Check for injuries
- Call 000 if anyone is hurt or if there’s danger.
Move to a safe place
- If vehicles are operable and it’s safe, move them off the road.
Exchange info & contact us
- Swap contact/insurance details with others involved.
- Take photos of the scene and damage.
- Notify Empire Trailer Hire: 1300 418 285.
Report the accident
- Report to police as required by severity and local laws.
- Notify your insurer as soon as possible.
Wait for assistance
- Remain at the scene until it’s appropriate to leave.
